Yes, I agree that there is value in reading without notes... especially when just starting the reading habit.

At the same time, I'm making the case that once the habit of reading is well-established, taking the time to create a note-taking system takes things to a whole other level. And that this is especially true for teachers, coaches, writers, etc.
