That is a good question! :)

I remember watching a Michael Dell interview where he was asked what advice he would give to his 18-year-old self, which is how old he was when he founded Dell Computer. He said that it wouldn’t matter because his younger self wouldn’t have listened. :)

There’s also the saying that the way you get good judgement is bad judgement.

On the other hand, life is much less painful and our learning curve is faster if we can learn from other people’s bad judgement. :-) Easier said than done though.
