The way I think about it is that we all have to start from where we are and then aim to get a little bit better. We all have steps we can take. Even if those steps are small, the big idea is making progress.

For example, when I graduated college, I was living in a roach-infested apartment with $40,000 in credit card debt and big student loans. But, I still had a lot of options. Similarly, someone with much less than I had still has options.
