Great share John Elo. As I’ve thought more about this topic, I realize that for polymaths to be identified, encouraged, and given opportunities that they’re a great fit for, we would need to think differently as a culture about how we train HR professionals, teachers, career counselors, academic counselors, etc.

In my experience, some keys for polymaths are:

  1. Starting a business or freelancing like you said so you can call the shot.
  2. Looking for job positions, organizations, and industries that are looking for and nurture polymaths.

What do you think?
