Good question. My personal experience is that the more time I spend learning across disciplines and diligently applying what I learn, the more that boundaries between disciplines feel arbitrary. Also, the more diverse knowledge anybody has, the more potential combinations they can make out of it. That’s my opinion.

Schools do a good job of teaching different subjects, but not a good job of connecting those subjects to each other and to the learner’s life.
